Pro, TP10
Primarily designed for pot-in-pot tree production-the
telescoping feature allows for use with in-ground containers
up to 45 gallons or up to 15 gallon containers in above-ground
applications. May also be used in landscaping situations
for trees up to 2" in caliper with small to medium
crowns.
Tree-Mate-O,
TR10
Provides needed flexible support in a variety of staking
applications. It works well in pot-in-pot nurseries
for up to 25 gallon containers, as well as in landscaping
applications for trees up to 2" in caliper. Also
works for retail/wholesale holding environments. A standard
green "T" post can be used to support trees
of any size up to 2", while light-duty "U"
posts are recommended for trees less than 1" in
caliper.
Trellis-Mate,
TM10
Attach on a wire or cable up to 3/8" diameter,
or a horizontal rail made of round or square tubing
(up to 1 ½") or even rebar. Remains fixed
even in high winds while providing needed flexible,
cushioned support to increase caliper and prevent container
blow-over. Works well in growing applications as well
as in retail/wholesale holding environments.
*All Tree Supports
Long-lasting EPDM rubber band helps to cushion or train
trunk; EPDM
band is primarily used in a nursery growing situation.
Bands should be
wrapped once around tree trunk; improper use can cause
band breakage and may eliminate the benefits of the
tree support.
For
retail display or holding, Bark Saver (for TM10 and
TP10) is an all weather, self-adhesive cushion that
is easily applied to the inner ring to cushion the trunk.
It allows for easy tree removal in retail situations.
Can also be used in growing applications. Bark Saver
can be purchased by the roll or in pre-cut strips.
Ex-Tree
Snap-out section used with Tree-Mate-O. Adds an extra
4 ½" reach for larger root balls up to 29"
or containers up to 45 gallons.
Tree
and Plant Guard
Aids in thwarting migrating, crawling caterpillars from
climbing and potentially defoliating a newly planted
tree in its first year when the root system may not
be able to recover form defoliation injury. Also helps
to prevent rodent/rabbit and mower/trimmer damage. It
will not girdle the tree and will remain reusable even
after it pops apart under expanding growth. Vents provide
for air movement and a mulch line indicator suggests
proper mulching depth while the guard itself prevents
mulch contact from the trunk. (important)
